Our History

Prairie Perfection Catering has been in business for over 25 years serving southern Alberta. What started as a small business with just two employees has grown into a thriving catering company serving a large area. Our catering company is successful as we focus on homemade cooking and dishes that please everyone. We offer a large variety of different menu options to suit people’s tastes and budgets.

We both have our Provincial Food Sanitation and Hygiene certificates as well as our Food Regulation Food Handling permits. We are a fully insured catering company and pride ourselves on providing high quality service and food.

Our expertise is home-cooking. People have gotten away from simply eating a home cooked meal. We do not use processed food such as prepared chicken, purchased soups, gravies, etc. Most everything is made from “scratch”. It has been our experience that an excellent meal does not have to be fancy or out of the ordinary. If it is done well you will enjoy every bite.

Prairie Perfection Catering prides itself on giving back to our local communities. We donate to local events and organizations by both monetary and prize donations. Another service that we provide is hot lunch to our local elementary school in Vulcan. Each month we serve over 100 students hot lunch and donate the profits back to the school.

We pride ourselves on being a community oriented company that goes above and beyond to serve exceptional food and provide outstanding service.

“Cannot thank Chris and Amanda Gauthier and crew for the wonderful meal provided for our daughter’s wedding. All the guests raved about the meat and the entire meal. We had absolutely not one complaint. Our daughter is celiac and they made special for her and still fed everyone else. I would highly recommend them. Had wonderful meal, excellent to work with and had 180 people fed in no time.”
